2# News: Hitoshi Ashiano’s manga Quiet Country Cafe (Yokohama Shopping Trip) won the Seizun Award for best Sci-Fi manga 2007. If you haven’t read it yet, you can find the manga in our manga archive (here).

Best sci-fi anime was The Girl Who Leapt Through Time directed by Mamoru Hosoda.

Hmm.
Technically speaking, “shounen” is more of a demographic indicator than a genre so you could have shounen action, comedy, horror, drama, movies, and old series.

Maybe it would have been better to have 2 polls instead: one for the genres, the other for the demographics (shounen, shoujo, seinen, josei, kodomo).
